Perfect riverside escape
I had such a chill stay! The room was super comfy and had this amazing view of the river. They even called to check if I was happy, which was a nice touch. Plus, I can’t get over the coffee machine in the room! Just wish the breakfast options were more extensive.

The stay turned out well overall, despite a couple of hiccups. The room provided a pleasant view of the river, and the food options were impressive, especially the breakfast which was plentiful and tasty. the ongoing refurbishment meant some areas were less accessible, and we faced some confusion with our spa bookings. The outdoor space looked lovely, too, but was closed on the beautiful weather day we wanted to use it. All said, it was a relaxing time and I would consider returning for the beautiful riverside views.

We enjoyed a delightful romantic dinner at riverside dining, where the serene views and fresh atmosphere added to the experience. The spa was a true highlight, providing a relaxing oasis that my wife and I loved after exploring the delightful local area.
In my wife’s opinion, a little more variety for evening activities would enhance the stay.

Couples looking for a special getaway
The food was incredible. My boyfriend has food allergies, and the chefs walked me through the buffet, explaining what was safe. They even catered specifically for him when he wanted something without nuts, which was hugely appreciated. Plus, they surprised him with a birthday dessert, complete with a ‘Happy Birthday’ chocolate! Unforgettable.
It wasn’t economical but still reasonable given the experience.

Really nice riverside dining experience with an exceptional buffet selection that outshines typical hotel offerings. The serene spa facilities provided a clean and relaxing escape, complete with an infrared sauna for those who prefer a milder heat.
The outdoor pool, while a pleasant surprise, had an unexpected £10 charge per person, which felt excessive for hotel residents. some of the room decor seemed outdated, lacking the modern touch you'd expect given the prices.

I spent my stay basking in the serene riverside views while sipping a refreshing cocktail by the outdoor pool, which was such a delight. The breakfast buffet blew my mind with a stunning array of options, setting the perfect tone for the day. And can we talk about the spa? Their massages are a slice of heaven that you absolutely need to experience!
